Salisbury Racecourse is regarded as a good starting point for juveniles with many top southern based yards represented. The racing is at a decent level and is competitive.  Salisbury stages a number of meetings during the summer months. Facilities are good with plenty of restaurants and snack bars.


Draw Advantage:
Low numbers at favourable in the sprints when the going is soft.


A stiff, right-handed Flat track that has a long run-in of 7 furlongs with the the last half mile rising to the finish line. This track is not for those stamina. Usually, the ground on the stands side rides better particularly on soft ground.
