Hamilton Park is a whole new world of great paddocks and lawns. The track hosts flat racing from April to September. There are popular social occasions in the summer. There is a  "Saints and Sinners" evening in Mid-June. It as  a charity night that is always well attended.

Draw Advantage: Middle to high numbers are best in sprints, particularly if the ground is soft.

It is an undulating, right handed loop course, with a severe dip 3 furlongs from the finish and a steady uphill run to the line.

Races over 1mile 3furlongs and upwards start at the home straight, and run the reverse way up the straight, and taking the lower bend around the loop before entering the home straight via the top bend.

The ground has a tendency to be very heavy in wet weather.

On soft ground, the high numbers have a marked advantage on the straight 5and 6 furlong tracks, which are quite stiff.
