Beverley is one of the most popular small racetracks in the UK. It is situated on the "Westwood" area, high above the market town of Beverley. This racecourse provides a great day out. It has modern stands with an uninterrupted view of the mile and a half race circuit. Evening races are very popular.

Beverley racecourse

Draw Advantage:
High numbers have an advantage in races up to 1 mile. Low numbers on soft ground.

This is an oval right-handed racecourse of 1 mile and 3 furlongs, it has an uphill finish of 2.5 furlongs. The 5 furlong racecourse has a slight bend halfway that puts the advantage very much for those drawn high. It is not wise to try and come from off-the-pace due to the short run in.
